Ullswater Boathouse Balcony update with Sunrock Infinity Glass Balustrades
On Ullswater, in the Lake District, Sunrock Balconies install Infinity Glass Balustrades on the balcony of a stunning stone Boathouse. The balcony sits directly above the water and the boathouse actually stands in the lake.
Due to the challenge of the existing decking being so high we use 21.5mm rather than 17.5mm laminate toughened glass. Like all glass from Sunrock, it has a 10 year guarantee.
The update to the Boathouse balcony gives the occupants amazing views over Ullswater. This is because the infinity glass balustrades are completely frameless, beautifully engineered and ultra-modern. As a result, they deliver a feeling of space, while at the same time providing a safety barrier compliant with regulations.
Furthermore from inside the Boathouse the view is just as good!
In order to make the glass balustrade fit snuggly under the eaves of the boathouse roof, it is cut to fit.
